2008 compilation from the South African Jazz guitarist and vocalist. As a Grammy Award-nominated artist and Sarie Award winner, Jonathan has enjoyed great success throughout his career. By 1977 he was signed to Jive Records and began to express himself as a composer and songwriter after joining Cape Town's Pacific Express, and in the early '80s he moved to England where he remained for 17 years. His international breakthrough came in 1987 with his Grammy nominated hit 'Lies' and his version of the Staple Singers song 'If You're Ready (Come Go with Me)', which he performed with Ruby Turner.
