"I have been a fan of Jon B. since Babyface discovered him. "Someone to Love" made my heart just melt. I knew I was going to love his music after that. "Bonifide" some how just blew right pass me. I defintely made it my business to get his next release when it came out! "Cool, Relax" is the BOMB!! I can't get enough of of it. I listen to it on my way to work, coming from work, when I'm cleaning my house and all that. I even put one of his songs on my answering machine. A lot of the songs Jon wrote I can definitely relate to. The way he sings is so sexy. He's real mellow. The woman in his life is the most luckiest woman on earth. I wish I was her!"
One of a few albums you must own before you die!!!

"1. You bought 100 albums in the 90s and you're remaining with probably 10, this CD should be among them coz its content is still relevant even after 10 years. This album features the top 10 hit single "They don't know" produced by Tim & Bob, the team behind Bobby Valentino's success. I own all Jon B albums from Bonafide, Pleasures you like and the recent "Stronger Everyday" but "Cool Relax" is his best and one of the best albums of the 1990s.

2. You would like to get a mix of D'Angelo and Babyface who wrote "Pride & Joy" and one of the best tracks on this album, the heartbreaking balad "Love hurts". Jon B is a remedy for you if just want chilling at home with your wifey, please listen to "Tu amor" a song penned by Dianne Warren (Aerosmith, Shania Twain, Toni Braxton, LeAnn Rimes, Mary J Blige etc) and produced by David Foster (Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, All-4-one etc)...

3. The track "Are you still there" is a duet with Tupac and also one of the best rnb & hiphop collaborations.

4. This album contains no fillers, you might think it's a "Best of Collection" coz Every song is great from They don't know, Love hurts, Watcha Say Boo, up to Cool Relax).

5. Jon B is one of the few artists who have succeeded in mixing soul & hiphop cultures. The CD is not boring at all, I always discover a song whenever i play it. Listen to "Ain't going out", the chorus says:"Fellas I ain't going out cause my ol' lady's showing me how she likes to keep me in the house to do my homework...". Stimes when you just wanna chill with your boo and don't wanna hang out with friends, just listen to this album, that's why it's called "Cool Relax" coz it's for the grown & Sexy guys. This album is really a true masterpiece.

For those who collect Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, D'Angelo, Babyface or R Kelly CDs, please there is a genius but underrated artist you must add in your catalog... Jon B."
Definitely Cool Relax....

"I've had this cd since 1998 and lately I've been listening to it off and on. This cd is very mellow, has a nice flow and the beats are bangin'. It also has a nice range of slow and uptempo jams. Jon B has a beautiful voice that flows real well with his music. My favorite jams are Shine (my absoulute favorite on the whole cd), Don't Say, They Don't Know, Are U Still Down featuring 2Pac, I Do(Whatcha Say Boo), Pride & Joy, and Love Hurts. Jon B did a very good job on his sophmore effort. He has a new single out right now "Don't Talk" and it's blazin' hot so I know his forthcoming cd has got to be hot too."
