Taped at the Olympia Theatre in Paris at the end of Johnny Rivers' triumphant 1973 European tour, portions of the concert were released the following year by Atlantic Records exclusively for the European tour market as Last Boogie In Paradise. More than three decades after its original release, this classic Johnny Rivers live album is presented in its complete, unedited form, as Last Boogie In Paradise: The Complete Concert. Newly remastered from the original master tapes, with ten previously unreleased tracks.

"this reissue is worth a listen the sound ,for a live recording,is top notch--the band cooks, and is solid all the way---their interpretation of the little richard classic,long tall sally,is a classic unto itself--rivers himself is in top form--this is a fine album!"

"I've had the origianl vinyl LP since 1973 and it's always been one of my faourites - in fact, I played it so much I wore it out and had to buy a second copy! Then it was released on CD so that joined my collection.

But I always felt there was something missing, there were too few tracks for this to be a complete concert and there was no "chat" between songs. Now, at long last, we have the "complete" concert and it is certainly worth getting. But why has it taken almost 35 years to be released?

Johnny Rivers covers the spectrum from out and out Rock'n'Roll with classics like Long Tall Sally & Blue Suede Shoes, through blues to ballads all backed by one of the best bands ever put together.

Even if you've got the original this "complete" concert is a must!"
