About Johnny Om: In addition to being a songwriter/composer, Johnny Om is also a versatile multi-instrumentalist, visual artist and writer. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he began playing music at the age of twelve. By the time he left the east coast for California in 1986, he d been active in the local music underground with several bands and as a solo performer. Since then he has worked on several musical collaborations and solo recordings, written music for dance, operated two art galleries, and has shown his oil and mixed media paintings nationwide.
