"It is amazing how consistently great Johnny Hodges sounded throughout his long career. Although these recordings occurred just 3 years before his death, Mr. Hodges provides excellent solos, as do many of his Ellington band mates. Everybody Knows is my favorite Hodges CD, but this disc is a close second."
