CD Reviews

This album feels like a good, strong bourbon.

"John Mohead takes the slow burn of slide-driven Southern rock and funks it up like only a Delta boy could. His melodies and guitar lines, from countless hours on Moon Lake and out on Mohead Road, hit you pleasantly like the warm rush of air as you come out the air conditioning. I had this album playing as I made my tearful exit from the Delta, and I only wish I had gotten to play with him and his band more often than I did."
