Talk about a career arc John Hall went from being founder of the band Orleans to becoming an environmental activist to being elected as Congressman for the 17th district in New York in 2008! In between all those milestones, he also fronted his own band during the early 80s, who recorded a couple of albums for EMI which have never been reissued on CD in the States and have been high atop collector wish lists ever since (that song Crazy (Keep on Falling) is a particular fave). "This item was packaged with 2 cd's (The John Hall Band 1981 release and Search Party). The John Hall Band release is electric with 2 songs anchoring the release (Crazy and Earth out Tonight). I only wanted The John Hall Band CD but this was the packaging available. Crazy was not available on cd until a month ago (Dec 2009). Search party was a bit of a disappointment but Crazy is an Album I had back in the early 80's now finally available on cd. Brought back great memories listening to this CD. If you are a fan from the Orleans era, you will love these cd's as they are timeless.

"The "All the above" album is an 80's album, that was played, alot..especially the song "Crazy" (Keep on falling)on the local radio stations, in the Boston, MA area, never got to see them then, but just recently purchased, thier album.

Who knew then, that John Hall, would later become a U.S. Congressmen. ?? Scratchrd, my head, a few times on that one...
