Synopsis

Album Description
From the world's #1 DJ this 10 track release is weird in all the right places, with splashes of loneliness here and there, but deliberate and to the point, it's a diverse mix of the new and old, the known and the soon to be known. A little more musical and a little less dark than what you may expect from John, MMII fills in the gaps that some of the more conventional recent mix compilations have created. 2002.

CD Reviews

Don't Be Hating...

"Just because an artist decides to do something alittle off thier path, doesn't mean it's a bad thing. It's always good when Digweed does something anyways. His track selection is quite logical and flows naturally. A bit over the top when he edits the tracks to serve his purpose, but it doesn't distract from the beauty of the songs. Listen and enjoy!"
Progressive dub house pushed...

"This mix is amazing! I heard it when it came out and wasn't too impressed cause I was into the more darker tracks Digweed usually plays. On a second listen I realized that there aren't one but two classic early Underworld remixes on here, played back to back and mixed as fluently as Digweed always does. "Te Quiero" is a early Emerson remix (not as good as his first "Gat Decor") and then the next song "Black Sky" is a slow burning Underworld remix that I've had for ages and always wanted to hear mixed on a proper CD. This CD is worth it for these two tracks alone. The rest of these tracks, some old, some new are as compelling and properly placed as any Digweed CD. Buy this, listen to many times..."
Why does everyone call this a chilled out album ?

"First after reading everyone else's reviews why is this being classified as a chill out album. Nonsense have any of u listened to this on a Beating system it freaking rocks out. That's the thing with Digweed though his stuff is almost too deep. The more u listen the better it gets. If u think the cd rocks check him out live u will never be the same. Also for people that like this definitely check out his Global Underground Los Angeles double disc."
