"This cd from top to bottom, is as heartfelt as any album I have ever listened to. And the beautiful thing about it is that it is all John's. No producers, no interference of any kind. It's nice to hear honest, well-written music in an industry filled with 30 offsprings of Korn or Backstreet Boys or Britney Spears. I believe John is very comparable to the music of Matthew Sweet in that they both write beautifully constructed melodies and can whale away on the guitar like there's no tomorrow, all on the same album. This cd was definite music to my ears. It was nice to hear him perform live before buying this cd. If ever in the Chicagoland area, look John up. His live performances, as well as his solo debut, are a treat for music fans of any genre."
