Album Description Joey wrote all the songs on 8:09 with Emanuel Kiriakou ("Eman") who first collaborated with Joey on "Meet Joe Mac" (2001). Since then, Eman has accompanied Joey on tour in an acoustic performance affectionately dubbed, "a one man show with two people." It is all preserved on the limited edition live CD "One Too Many" recorded at Joe's Pub in New York City in April, 2002. The album was produced by Eman at Gearbox Studios in Los Angeles. Most of it was recorded during Joey's down time portraying English teacher Colin Flynn on Fox-TV's Boston Public. The album was mixed in New York at The Hit Factory by Tony Maserati except for L.A. Blue which was mixed at Ocean Way Studios in L.A. (where else?) by Jack Joseph Puig. Similarly Requested CDs

There are many ballads and many up beat songs such as "California," "Dance Like That," and "This is Different!" Any listener could not turn this CD off! I have been listenig to it almost 24/7 since its release on April 27, 2004! An example of the ballads are: "Love Me That Way," "Supergirl," "Someday," and "Endlessly." Joey's first single, "L.A. Blue," is an amazing song also. It will make you cry it is so good. These songs are very emotional and you can tell from Joey's voice and the lyrics that he wrote that it comes from the heart. You can tell he really means what he is saying, and that he has really put his heart and soul into this record.Please buy it and hear it for yourself. You won't regret it, I promise! It rocks! Listening to this CD will give you chills it is so good! It's amazing! It won't leave your stereo. I promise that, too. I definitely recommend Joey's new album, "8:09."
