CD ReviewsWhat a great find Klezmer clarinetist's mom | Anchorage, AK USA | 08/24/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "I was lucky enough to discover this apparently rare find. It has become one of my favorite klezmer CDs. Joel Rubin's clarinet has a wonderful tone and clarity. Similar to Naftule Brandwein in spirit and inspiration, I find this tape more enjoyable to listen to, partly because the recording is very crisp, unlike the hiss of the Brandwein products, partly because the Brandwein other-worldly craziness is gone, replaced by pure joyousness. The accomanying musicians are also more prominent and very accomplished."
