Member CD Reviews Al V. (Al) from HOOVER, AL Reviewed on 4/27/2007... To me, the Postwar recordings of Joe Liggins are the sound of L.A.'s black community. These cuts are fantastic...and the Honeydripper may be the best big city R & B tune of the era.
