The-Jivin'-Crow | Sunset Beach, CA | 06/14/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Joe "All Night Long" Houston has been a fixture in the jump blues scene in Los Angeles for over 40 years now(I saw him play just last night in La Habra with a locaL blues band), and this cd features one of Houston's more wild sessions reissued. This is not a straight reissue of the LP, however that is the original cover, and the songs on that album are present, as well as a dozen or so more. The songs all qualify as rockin' jump blues, R&B, jump jive' swing, early rock'n'roll, whatever you want to call it, it is great for swing dancing, or just having a party or BBQ. This cd is also great for cruisin'. Essential jump blues by the master, he honks, toots, and wails away the blues on his sax, and sinsg a bit too. Wild and fun music!"
