Album Description
Recorded in 1991 at the Horton Grand Hotel in San Diego and originally released on BluePort Records, this live CD is once again available to Joe Diorio's many fans. With Bob Magnusson on bass, Jim Plank on drums and Diorio playing his 1968 Gibson 175, the trio offers affectionate interpretations of popular selections. Joe has worked for decades both as a leader and as a session player with an impressive list of jazz luminaries. A popular faculty member at the University of Southern California, he is also one of three instructors who founded the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood.
