"To begin with, Joanna Dean's voice has to be heard to be believed. It lies somewhere between Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt. Raspy, bluesy, gritty, whatever you want to call it...it's nothing short of awesome. As far as the album (CD) goes, there isn't a bad song on it. "Ready For Saturday Night" kicks it off in high gear and it goes from there like the Coyote with a rocket strapped to his .... "Kiss This", "Burnin' Rubber", "She's Been Hearing About Me", "Misbehavin'", right through to the closer, a cover of The Stones "Gimme Shelter", this ... rocks HARD, straddling perfectly that thin line between hard rock and heavy metal. Buy it if you can find it...by all means.The only sad thing about this tale is that she doesn't record any more. She made this one and one more. Last I heard, she was a graphics designer for some website development company. Truly one of the great tragedies of Rock And Roll..."

"Joanna Dean, Ex Bad Romance Singer released this CD on the Polydor Label back in 1988. It virtually went unnoticed but do not let that fool you. The CD has great songs, musicianship and production. If you like Female AOR like Robin Beck, Cher (late 80's, early 90's), Alexa, Fiona and Darby Mills, you have to have this CD. You will not regret purchasing this gem. It is getting very hard to find and the price is skyrocketing so don't miss out, buy now."
