CD ReviewsEnd of a long search Lawrence Hirsh | 12/05/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "I have enjoyed this record for around 45 years, and always considered it Jimmy's best. Having already worn out two vinyl copies, and having nagged Verve on their website to put this out on CD, I am very pleased to see it here finally. A lot of Jimmy's licks sound tired on other records, to the point where I feel one record is enough to get the idea of what he is saying. This record is it. The interplay with the guitarist is perfect, the intensity never flags in what are quite long tracks. The only drawback is the difficulty of finding a record to follow it when it has finished. You can always try putting it on again.
