The unusual line up including Julius Watkin's french horn hits home immediately with a superb version of GEMINI. The other Heath brothers excel on this recording together with the excellent piano of Cedar Walton. THE MORE I SEE YOU is not the usual ballad rendition and all the better for it but my favourite track is DEW AND MUD with the Heath fraternity (particularly Jimmy and Al) to the fore. Altogether an excellent example of Jimmy Heath's playing and arranging supplemented on most tracks by Watkins and Freddie Hubbard." A perfect introduction!
