A Great Collection

"This is the newest Little Jimmy Dickens Collection, released this year (2006) by Columbia/Legacy. Jimmy dickens could be considered the father (or one of the first) of Country Music Humor, and after one listen to this collection, you'll soon see why. With such numbers as "Take an Old Cold Tater and Wait", "Out Behind The Barn", and of course, "May The Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose", this CD covers the most hilarious tunes ever released. But, also, there's a few fine ballads, such as "We could", Take Me as I Am", and "The Violet and The Rose". The sound is great, I doubt it could be improved. Little Jimmy Dickens is still performing today, at 86 years old, and if you want to see a true professional at work, take in one of his appearances."
