Available for the first time nationwide, 2 For 1 Special is the combination of Jimmie's Chicken Shack's first two now out-of-print releases, Spit Burger Lottery and Chicken Scratch. This CD has early (hatchling) releases of songs that appear on the Rocket/Island Record's release Pushing The Salmanilla Envelope, including the singles "High," "Blood," and "Another Day." The Shack's sound is described as "mutt rock," which means they combine many elements of funk, punk, metal, and good old-fashioned rock and roll, and forge it into their unique but familiar sound.
