Listen to his voice -- it's just a wonderful instrument that has a slight hint of his native Texas. On this album, Jim teams with a number of excellent instrumentalists to explore traditional songs, with some originals as well. While I prefer some of his earlier (and not available on CD) records like Shipshape, this is an excellent recording that is not to be missed."
