Superb Jazz Violin

"This CD is amazing! The skill and compositional level is very high. I was riding a musical adventure on Song for Pablo, Nolet's original. It began with a Coltran-ish intro, that led into an afro-brazilian groove then became very modernesque. The Mingus piece with a string trio displayed beautiful interplay and unison melodies with violin, bowed bass, and Dave Tronzo on slide guitar. I was swinging to Just a Gigolo, and got caught up in the fire of Nolet's flamenco original: "Aurora" which was spectacular. Awesome!"
