Synopsis

Album Description
A mixture of pop, rock, jazz, and funk influences, Flowers From Eden features thoughtful lyrics that celebrate life, love, and positivity with themes ranging from philosophically meaningful to romantic to soulful. Musical textures range from the subtle piano/string/vocal ballad "Her Name" to the production heavy "Bottomfeeder," which features thick vocal harmonies, heavy rock guitar, and growling trumpet. This is the debut album for Jim Dix, who wrote many of these songs while a Songwriting student at Berklee College of Music. Jim sings and plays trumpet and keyboard, accompied by long time musical compatriots in his first solo album, Flowers From Eden
