CD Reviews

What a Joy
Toombstar | Seneca Falls, NY USA | 08/24/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I probably have most of Jim Brickman's CD's and find that he is one performer I never have to worry about when I buy his music. It will be at least good, but usually great and that is it. There must be thousands of Christmas albums out there, but this one has his own flavor of innovation and every song is a joy to listen to. Even songs that aren't exactly my favorite take on a freshness with his style. The lyrics are always wonderful as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the Santa song, it was so heartwarming when he sings that everyone needs "someone to come home to after the longest day". One of Jim's most well known songs is "The Gift', but in my world, Jim is the real gift."
