Stacy is best remmembered as the Pianst for Benny Goodman's own orchestra as well as Bob Crosbys orchestra. He was a fine pianst and this is some of his best work. There are some selections form his Goodman days (Madhouse and Roll 'em) as well as a few more from His Bob Crosby Days. However this CD is mainly his solo work, the highlight being his excellent version of "the world is waiting for sunrise" with Isreal Crosby and Gene Krupa. This CD is ended with One of only 2 Recordings by Jess Stacys short lived orchestra, Daybreak Serenade. I would highly recomend this CD to anyone who is a fan of BG ,Bob Crosby or Stacy in General."
