Jerry Butler has one of the coolest, most distinguished voices in all of music that's perfectly described by his nickname, "The Ice Man." Upon signing to Vee-Jay in late 1960 he released the smash "He Will Break Your Heart" which topped the charts for 7 consecutive weeks leading to a string of hits that sowed the seeds for Butler's four decade career spanning nearly 50 albums.
