CD Reviews

A wealth of Bartok
Miriam | 04/14/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"An amazing compendium of Bartok piano works. Lowenthal gives a truly virtuoso playing here that left me sitting in the middle of the room just listening (unlike me). I love the performance on this in part because it really helped me to have a greater appreciation of Bartok and the subtleties and beauty of his music. On lesser recordings you miss out on how amazing his music can be."
