Following her acoustic EP of the same-named released last year, FROM THE DARK, the full album, rounds out Jennifer?s latest effort with five additional original songs. Ten songs make up this fresh collection, which once again features Jennifer on violin, piano, and keyboards. With her trademark intricate arrangements, FROM THE DARK moves ever deeper, approaching something contemplative and darkly glittering, as it wraps rich, memorable melodies around thoughtful lyrics. Standout tracks include ORBIT AGAIN, an upbeat ode to new love, FRAGILE, with its pulsing rhythm and lush strings, FOUND, a hauntingly beautiful piano ballad, and the Peter Gabriel inspired BACK HOME. This music is unique in that it both soothes the soul, and simultaneously lifts the heart with hope. With From The Dark, Jennifer invites us to join her on a richly rewarding musical journey.
