(5 out of 5 stars)

"In the hectic everyday life we forget that Nature which surrounds us does not hurry somewhere. We forget to feel the simple things: blowing of the wind, aroma of the flower, singing of the bird. Little by little we lose the sense of the entire world's beauty. And with it we lose ourselves.

The music of Jeffrey Fisher helps the listener return to his inner self, to feel the taste of the life again. The artist combines the deep emotional and powerful sounds of a Bass Violin with mesmeric Native American Flute and ambient keyboards. As a result we can enjoy very meditative and insightful music.

The title of the album comes from Gandhi's name for non-violent resistance. The word "Satyagraha" means "the power of truth" and this project was composed in Jeffrey Fisher's off-the-grid retreat which is located in the San Jacinto Mountains. Maybe that is why the music of his album contains such freedom. The artist easily expresses all his emotional experiences and gives the listener an endless space.

The music of Jeffrey Fisher has one very rare and important feature. It has three-dimensionality. This music arouses the listener's imagination and it inspires him for creative work. Also, Jeffrey Fisher's tunes have an evident therapeutic effect.

Listen to "Satyagraha - Songs of the Earth" and feel how the world is excitingly beautiful. And at the same time you will feel the divine beauty of yourself.
