CD Reviews

Upbeat Spanish Musica-Style Jazz Delivers!
Kaylaken@aol.com | Florida | 08/24/1998
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Jeff Linsky combines the best of guitar, percussion and vocal in this upbeat yet relaxing taste of California and Mexican-style music CD. It is a wonderful tribute to the combination of jazz, Spanish flamenco and moving guitar and piano rhthyms. The sounds flow and mesh with the sweet vocals of Claudia Villella. A true treat for the soul looking for peace and harmony in an upbeat musical style! A perfect CD on a Sunday or any day that ends in Y!"
Jeff your Great

"Jeff really puts his feelings into this CD. My favourite track is "Murrieta's Farewell" perhaps you can tell me the meaning one day Jeff! I would have prefered the CD to have only you and not the girl singing in the background. Still, I listen to it often. Its great Jeff! Love Helen"
Great Jazz Guitarist, Brazilian-Influenced
Papetti | Mexico City | 01/15/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Jeff Linsky is a great guitarist and this is just a perfect showcase for his talent.
Two great additions to this CD are without a doubt the participation of 1) Brazilian Diva Claudia Villela on scattings, and 2)Michael Spiro on percussion; he's also played with Brazilian super pianist Marcos Silva.
Jeff is perhaps one of the best examples of a non-Brazilian dominating the complex and beautiful style of Brazilian Jazz guitar; and just about every song is a winner: The Crossing, Second Street, Casa Miguel, On the Strand, Pacifica, Samba Cruz, etc.
Don't miss it, it's a true gem !!!!!!!!!!!"
