CD ReviewsWhy haven't you bought this yet? C. Hopkins | 12/02/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "I love this CD. I have listened to "Lots of Knots" hundreds of times. I wish I could play and sing this well. "Realize" the love song you should have played at your wedding. "Lots of Trance". Is it possible to groove to a folk song? Yes. "Daddy's Song" beautiful. "Mother's Calling". I stopped writing this review to hear it all the way through. Twice. "You Can Be" Beautiful & haunting. "Nothing Hurts" a duet of two people who truly love. This album is worth your money and time. Tell a friend. " Jeanne Wooster Rocks John C. Haley | Monterey,CA | 12/01/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "Jeanne Wooster is an incredibly talented guitarist and vocalist. "Lots of Knots" is my favorite on this album. It is a richly complex piece that showcases Wooster's guitar virtuosity, sounds like several guitars are playing instead of one! Her lyrics are deeply thoughtful and she sings with the voice of an angel. Check it out and ponder how such a talent is not known worldwide." A very, very special experience Ray Baisden | Clear Lake, CA | 12/03/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "What a wonderful discovery. This CD is not new, but it is timeless, and by request it is being offered for sale here again.
Jeanne Wooster is simply a gift. You cannot for a moment doubt the authenticity of her original songs when they come to you through such a beautifully expressive voice. She touches my heart and my mind. As if that wasn't enough, she is also a brilliant guitarist. Her palette there, in addition to her voice, is varied and expressive, and just plain great. Ranging from flowing and melodic to downright percussive, she makes those six strings sing. I own this CD and I could not recommend it highly enough." |
