"I learned about Javier Alverez from a friend of mine while I was in Costa Rica. He is from spain and has sort of a folky-rock way of making his songs. They all tell stories about his life and the people around him, using words to paint a very clear picture. The first time I heard one of his songs I knew I had discovered an amazing artist. If you understand Spanish and like beautiful songs that say something this is the album for you."
