"Jane McDonald is one of the finest singing talents to come out of Britain since Anne Shelton. I have heard her live on several occasions and can honestly say that the sincerity and power of her performances has always left me feeling emotional and close to tears. She has the enviable ability to make every song her own, irrespective of who previously made them a hit. With perfect pitch and the right amount of heart she never fails to please the listener. My friends who have never heard her before, like me, cannot understand why she is not better known in the USA. I know she has performed at Las Vegas (even receiving the key to the city) and a DVD of her performance is available. But, it is her CDs that really amaze and 'Jane' tops them all. I defy anyone not to enjoy her latest album. Truly, the best of British."
