Jelinek's ability to carve out a un-boring soundscape that is warm yet unsettling, repetitive yet consistently stimulating is truly unique---it's almost as if you're enveloped in the safety of mother's womb, listening to the soundtrack of an unknown and unknowable world on the brink of madness in slow-motion. I've no idea how this album has been received, but it'd be a shame if it was overlooked by those compelled by the genre and Jelinek's past triumphs. Cover art is really fitting somehow...
