"This CD is part of a 3 CD reissue by Hux records from the UK. In my opinion, Heartware is the best of the three, although I would recommend all three highly. If you have kept up with Jan's career since leaving Focus, you will no doubt recognize some of these songs from other albums. For instance, My Pleasure appears on the 1985 Focus album as Beethoven's Revenge. One of the best songs on the album is Lost & Found, an original version of Akkerman's Sombrero. The guitar work is some of the best that he has ever done. Another song of note is Fire from Heaven. This is a new composition, as Jan has added several new pieces to this CD. The song is very comtemporary and his work is outstanding. Unlike other 70's progressive rock musicians/bands, Jan has had no problem keeping up with times. If you are searching for the best rock guitarist alive, your search has ended. Order this and every other Jan Akkerman CD that you can get your hands on. I promise you that it is worth every penny you will spend."
