CD Reviews

The best CD you've never heard of!

"I only know of Jamie Fota because she's a local musician here in Cincinnati. If you aren't from around here, you've probably never heard of her, but if you care about music that has something to say, are you missing something! It's hard to describe what style the album is in, because it's so original and the tracks are so different from each other. There are romantic love songs, but also songs about protecting the earth and about working for change; there are songs about spirituality, songs of empowerment. There's a wonderful song (From Within) about taking care of your inner child--I know it sounds sappy to describe this way, but the song is devastating and uplifting all at once, and far from sappy. The music will touch your heart and your soul and there's a go out and party song too!"
