"This is actually my favorite Jam and Spoon album, although it's pretty different from the group's previous efforts. This outing has more "ballads" than the previous albums-- maybe a better way to describe it would be that this album offers more songs sung by Plavka (the female lead on previous efforts like 'Right in the Night', 'Stella', 'Find Me', etc.) At the same time, you'll find some great experimental trance tracks as well, with wicked progressions through the songs (ref 'I Pull My Gun Once/Twice', 'El Baile', & 'Warm Dead Dog'). I don't know how to describe a Spanish guitar streaming into a blistering sound, but it works beautifully. All in all, the diverse blend makes this my favorite Jam and Spoon album to listen to. While I can't exactly categorize it as trance, the crazy instruments and beats they come up with here make this well worth a listen to anyone interested in Jam & Spoon, or just looking for something different. Just go listen!"
