Album Description

2010 release. In 1959 Jacques Loussier formed the Play Bach Trio with bass player Pierre Michelot and percussionist Christian Garros. They used Bach compositions for transcriptions into Jazz, Loussier played the piano instead of harpsichord or clavichord and the music was splitted between piano and bass with punctuation by the percussionist. Then they proceeded to improvise over the original Bach score. Documents.
