"RIGHT ON!THis is so cool to find on cd!I have the album which was handed down from my way cool Aunt. She turned my sisters and I on to this album back in the day and when we are all together its all about singing at the top of our lungs!! I really was starting to believe that Jack Green was only popular in Havre MT,but am shocked and stoked to see that is not true!
AWESOME TUNES!!"

"Jack Green had a knack for changing musical styles, ranging from raggae influenced "new wave" (sort of like the "police") to power-pop ("factory girl"). The lyrics range from basic pop to a sometimes more complex (costello-ish) style. Looking back, perhaps his eclectic approach was actually his downfall. He wasn't hip or clever enough to rise to the top of the "new wave", but he was still TOO clever for the mainstream! What we ended up with is a couple of really good albums that went straight into limbo!

I don't think Jack Green ever truly hit his stride. There's certainly a lot of good material on every one of his albums, but at times you'll be very aware that you're listening to a group in need of serious growth in the writing department.

I own all of his LP's and I can't believe this is on CD! His other releases should also be released on CD!

"There is no way anyone can not get going on this on... I suggest keep an eye on your driving manners. Only the choosen few seem to connect with this album,(notice I said album ) but those who did, will never forget it. It is the one thing that does not make me feel old (er)and brings the PUNK out of me quickly. 4x4 and Jack Green... a hot summer night...Nor forget me..."
