"At the last the long awaited follow up CD to "Foreward" , and my , hasn't this talented young artist grown .Whereas "Foreward" was very much in "The Urban Groove " and really failed to show the range of skills possessed by Jaared Arosemena..it did introduce him to the recording world and earn him a nomination , for best new artist at The Smooth Jazz awards in San Diego this year....."Hangtime" is something worth listening to , and like a fine wine it improves with time , it shows the diversity of this oh so sexy Saxophonist . He is joined also by Peter White , Ken Navarro and Marcus Johnson when definately enriches his sound , this is a must for your collection .Can't wait to see what he will pull out of the hat to top this ..Watch out for this rising star ...."

Not Just Another Sax Artist & Album

"Jaared is not a new comer to me, we got to know his musical magic with a sax from his days performing at Sunday Brunch at the Crystal City, VA (Washington DC area) Hyatt's rooftop restaurant. We enjoyed many Sunday afternoons during our weekend trips from Richmond to Crystal City and DC listening to him perform.



We always said to Jaared that he would eventually release a CD and not only did he with his first release "Foreward" but he followed up with this one "Hangtime". It equally as good as the first and continues to show his talent as a saxaphonist as blessed with his instrument as Kenny G and Dave Koz.



He signature sound is one that is his own and is a pleasure to listen to. If you like smooth jazz and the sax you owe it to yourself to experience the magic of this artist. He puts his heart and soul into his music.

Smooth & Romantic rhythms/ Great for romance

"Once I played this album, I heard the beginning of a great romance. The toones are all smooth and instrumentally played in a wonderful way. This album is wonderful. Especially the third song. It is the best on the album. This is the first album of his I have bought and I have no regrets. You will enjoy this album if you like smooth rhythms and love romance."
