A Fantastic Set - Must Hear

"The playing of the Bach Guild is correct in the best sense and completely fresh. These were recorded in Vienna in 1956 and this is the first release on CD in 2003. I've heard these concertos hundreds of times, and when I listened to this disc they sounded almost new. I felt I was hearing them the way they should be played. What's beautiful is you can actually hear the harpichord!, ususally so thin and ghostly sounding. I particularly like disc 1. Great mastering, very warm and even in MONO the separation of the instruments is superb. Highest rateting."
