Issa's voice is stronger than ever, while her melodies invite the listener in to dream, heal and dance. Issa is one of those musicians who has consistently gone out on a limb of exploration and independence to create works so far from being formulaic as to create a new genre. Like many an innovator she may not be given the appreciation she is due in our time, but her artistry has a resilience and generosity of spirit which is sure to triumph. This cd is a gift to the earth.
