Charlie Jennison is a multi-instrumentalist and music educator who performs on saxophones, clarinet, flute, keyboards, and percussion. Formerly with DOAH World Music Ensemble, Charlie toured the U.S. in the 1980s while recording for the Global Pacific label. Currently on the music faculty of Phillips Exeter Academy, Charlie has created workshops and courses in jazz history and improvisation for the University of New Hampshire and College of Life Long Learning, studying with Mike Annicchiarico and Jerry Bergonzi and completing his Master's in Performance and Composition in 1996. Also on the New England Touring Program roster for several years with the Barbara London Quartet and the Play'rs Orchestra, he has backed up such notables as Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Buddy DeFranco, Natalie Cole, and Rosemary Clooney.
