Sometimes overlooked

"I became a fan of this musical when I watched a showing of it on PBS back in the early 90's. The musical itself was an irreverent look at the fairly tales we all grew up with.

At the time I think it was overshadowed by the successes of Les Miserables and Phantom.

The characters are endearing and the vocals are easy to follow.

My personal favorite of the recording, is "Agony""
