"The movie "Intersection" now is some old. The remake of french movie THE THINGS OF LIFE. The exellent actors performance - Richard Gere, Sharon Stone, Lolita Davidovich making it very lovely. From the first sounds of this soundtrack you feel something eternity. Music by James Newton Hovard very soft and carefully lead us to thinking about our life. If you feel sad, listen this disk and feel yourself better."

"A score that has been overlooked, and all but forgotten about, by the "mainstreamers" of the film score community, "INTERSECTION" is a beautiful example of rich, melodic, and ethereal film music.
People who love movie scores, know who James Newton Howard is, and, what a truly amazing gift he has for film score composing. Most people like his aggressive percussion-type scoring. Please don't get me wrong here, Mr. Howard can "get after it" with the best of them. HOWEVER, for my money, it his gift for beautiful haunting love themes, and brilliant ethereal-type music, that gets me every time. In that regard, "INTERSECTION" in my humble opinion, is a cornerstone JNH score. With the exception of a few cues, the score delivers big time. Long out of print, and hard to find, it is well worth the effort to obtain. Most people I know who have the score, love it, and refuse to part with it [no kidding]. If you love the melodic side of James Newton Howard, "INTERSECTION" is truly a must-have score. -SE"
