CD Reviews

Not a Thompson Twins/Babble record, but superb
IggyBowieLou | Kansas City | 09/10/2006

"Love this album, but it's certainly not the "next" Babble release by any means. It's deep, sludgy reggae dub with Indian influences. You'll hear a lot of the exact same sonics in the Babble albums, including some timbale riffs we've heard before.

The whole thing is a one-sitting listen, not a collection of songs you'd dance to. This is a druggy chill, in the vein of Ben Hunter or King Tubby."
A brilliant collection, SEEN is the new "must have!"

"I think this album is an excellent collection of tracks, it's pure, fluid, mellow, and takes you through an array of sounds and motions like nothing else in my collection, and quite frankly deserves to be in your hands too. As for die hard Thompson Twins and Babble fans, so am I, BUT, this has to be some of the best work that iv'e heard from Tom Bailey for many years. A thoroughly polished result (compared to past albums from Babble,) "SEEN" has to be the new way forward for Tom. 10/10 in my opinon, Thompson Twins are still missed but quite frankly darlings, let's get over it. Thankyou for growing up with me Tom since 1984, and cannot wait to get my hands on "All Played Out".XXX"
