CD Reviews

This band should be famous

"Seriously, every song on Injected's first album is nothing short of extraordinary, noticeably "Paint it Black" "Bullet" "Only Hurts Awhile" and of course "Faithless." The musical styles are fresh and very memorable, and the lyrics are all perfectly psychological if you ask me. Get this CD while you still can!"
The suprise album from this year

"As many of the reviewers point out, just a few years ago we were hit with a mess of new bands like puddle of mudd, trapped, smile empty soul, nickelback, that had a similar formula and style to them. This album was an outsider dark horse from that time period. Often overlooked, this album has that hevier edge that many people may have missed, but enough of a finished edge that make it really easy to bring into a collection without alienating friends and neighbors, like much of the new Metal does with it "cookie moster" vocal styles. It's no suprise that Butch Walker had a hand in producing this band, who had some success with Marvelous 3 (before that Southgang) and it's hard edge but commercial friendly music, and darn catchy as well. Overall, many good songs on this album, best known single was "Faithless". Nice flow and power to this, a good pick up for any collection. Also, The last two albums from bowling for soup are produced by him (drunk enough to dance, and A hangover you didn't deserve) are a good show at how he helps pick a talented band and take it to the next level (and Grammy nomination for the song "girl all the bad guys want")"
We need more bands like this! Hard Rock w/ substance!

"This is an awesome Hard Rock CD. It's tough to categorize. It's hard edgy rock w/ a little bit of a 70's vibe and southern rock twist to it. This is not a heavily polished radio friendly rock act (3 doors down, Hinder, Trapt, etc..). But it does walk the line between radio viable tunes and fist pumping rage. The song "Bullet" is the heaviest offering that you will hear. You may have heard it on "XM". Awesome, in your face, balls out hard rockin' action. That songs worth purchasing the CD itself. Along with that you have many other great tunes. A few slower numbers that are great as well! Nothing boring or sappy at all. I'm fan of Nickelback, and trust me these guys sound nothing like them. But imagine that type of music being a little less polished and more raw in nature. That's Injected. These guys should've been the "Next big Thing"! Plenty of talent with a fresh sound. It's disappointing to hear that they broke up after such a great release. It's unfortunate when really talented musicians don't make it as far as they should. If you're a fan of releases by bands like Loudmouth, Second Coming, Shinedown and old STP you should like this. You can get this on Amazon's marketplace for basically nothing, as I did. It's worth every penny!
