CD ReviewsA truly great singer! Young Baritone | Sweden | 08/17/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Ingvar Wixell has always been one of my favourite singers. He's a genuine baritone, no bass-baritone, and he's got a light timbre that one just must envy him for. This cd shows all the aspects of his voice and also of his dramatic side.
Ok, I must admit I'm not that keen on some of the songs, I'd rather seen an album with just his opera arias, but since there is no album like that this one will have to do. The intonation is impeccable and his voice, as always, crystal clear. It's a must buy! " |
