Album Description
Guitarist Pablo Garibay graduated Summa Cum Laude from the National School of Music in Mexico and is now pursuing his Master's degree in Weimar, Germany at the Franz Schubert High School for Music. He has given the world premieres of works by many Latin American composers, including Ernesto Cordero, whose Tres Cantigas Negras are included on this album. He has played as soloist with the Mexico City Philharmonic, Buffalo Philharmonic, and other eminent orchestras. Garibay has won the First Prize in six different competitions in Mexico, France, Spain, and Germany.
