Forgotten Verdi tenor

"Flaviano Labo is probably one of the five best Verdi tenors of the last century, but he is largely forgotten. Only Bergonzi could sing "O Tu Che In Seno Agli angeli" from Forza with more lyric beauty. For anyone who loves classic Italian Verdi singing, this is a must own disc. Labo tragically died in a car accident and I hope that this disc helps prevent him from being tragically forgotten."
