CD Reviews

Iio is not without the I-I-O!

"Iio wouldn't be without the I-I-O!I have to say that Iio is the best club/dance/trance group ever. When I first heard their remix to "At The End", I was in a trance. The vocals are so powerful, and clear, but yet sounds like they had a vocoder thing going. Nadia did an excellent job with her voice. Her voice is natural, and they club background is perfect. The remixes on this album are outstanding. The Midnite Radio Edit (the very first remix I heard from "At The End") is an trance/clubby remix with excellent vocoders. It has an hard bass beat, and an very good intro and outro. When I first heard it, I thought it was the album version! Perfect for an trance session. 5/5. The Midnite Extended Mix of course is just an extended mix from the radio edit, but features for instrumental to the club scene. The vocals are arranged in a different sequence from the radio edit. This song makes you feel like you're at the club. 5/5. Made Edit is a fabulous remix which is an dark bass. It's more of a club vocadub. The vocals are repeated in a dub like manner with an deeper bass too it. It's more of an dub trance remix. 5/5. The Scumfrog Remix is almost the same as the Made Edit which is weird. When I heard it, the songs kinda sounds the same. Still a 5/5. Saeed & Palesh did an excellent job. Soon as the song starts, you are on the dance floor in a dark, neon trance room. The vocals are strong sounding deeper then the others. It's the longest remix on this album. 5/5. Last but not least, the Ultrasun Remix. This remix begins with an fast trance beat. Some parts of the song has an A Cappella to it. It has 2-4 main beats to it. It gives this remix an "Ultrasun" feeling to it like you are going to cross the border and it`s "At The End". 5/5.Iio did an over excellent job. A rumor is going around that they are going to release a full album. I MAKE SURE I will get their LP album. Once you pop Iio in your CD Player, you will play it over and over, and over. They're remixes are not wacko like most artists. The remixes are sensible in a deep trance club versions. Iio makes sure they are at the top of the game, and they are!!!"
Awesome follow-up single ...

"At the End is a terriffic follow-up single to this duo's 2001 dance-club hit "Rapture". I first heard this song (and Rapture) when last in Ibiza with my European relatives.A must for any techno/trance fan. Pretty much all of the mixes on this CD Single are great to listen to ... especially when dancing or driving (among other activities)."
